RapidMiner

Requirements

The Core Services of the Edge Compute Platform need to have been installed.

The following services need to be installed on the edge in order to use RapidMiner at the edge:

rapidminer-scoring-agent
ase-support-rapidminer

The RapidMiner Scoring Agent application is a container image with a JVM and a Scoring Agent onto which RapidMiner services can be deployed. Multiple instances of this application can run on the edge (for example with different libraries in the JVM). For more details see Scoring Agent.

This application can run standalone. For integration with the Edge Compute Platform and remote management the Support RapidMiner application is needed. For more details see the Support RapidMiner page.

The rapidminer-scoring-agent service can be deployed by adding the "App - RapidMiner Scoring Agent" application from the Marketplace to your own space (see Add an Edge App to Your Space).

The ase-support-rapidminer service can be deployed by adding the "App - ECP Support RapidMiner" application from the Marketplace to your own space.
